Class Description

Gentle Hatha is exactly as it sounds, a gentle and much slower paced Hatha practice. A practice incorporating more warm-up movements, numerous modifications utilizing props, and spending a lengthened amount of time in each posture allowing the body to develop the muscle memory for each individuals body anatomy. The benefits of a Gentle Hatha practice allows you to move at a comfortable pace not pushing to a point of being uncomfortable allowing for less strain on muscles and joints, experiencing heightened body awareness, reduced stress, improved posture and balance, deeper and fuller breathing, stronger muscles, increased joint mobility, strengthened concentration, overall health improvement, and a greater sense of well-being.
