Class Description

Yoga nidra is a meditative exercise designed to induce deep relaxation and inner awareness. Class begins with slow stretches before lying down comfortably with the support of props. Once settled in and still, you'll be guided verbally through various mental exercises - with no movement - to induce a state of conscious awareness between waking and sleep. Yoga nidra is held the first Sunday of each month. Note: If you have a history of mental health struggles, including schizophrenia, audiovisual hallucinations, and/or severe PTSD, please consult with your doctor or therapist before beginning a yoga nidra practice.
