Class Description

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that's done while seated or using a chair for balance and makes the practice more accessible. In chair yoga, it's possible to move into our traditional yoga poses like cat/cow, warrior 2, sun salutations, and forward folds, all while seated! The benefits of a Chair Yoga practice allow you to move at a comfortable pace, not pushing to a point of being uncomfortable, allowing less strain on muscles and joints, experience heightened body awareness, reduced stress, improved posture and balance, deeper and fuller breathing, stronger muscles, increased joint mobility, overall health improvement, and a greater sense of well-being. This class is accessible for all levels, people recovering from surgeries or injuries, those with limited mobility, and students new to yoga!
